Phonics games are super fun activities that can help your students to practice key pronunciation and spelling skills. Teaching phonics through games is an efficient way of teaching children to read and write. It helps in training students to hear the sounds, identify the sounds and link those sounds to symbols we call letters. I-Spy - This game is like a boredom buster. You can fill a large juice bottle with a variety of items that start with various letters. You can use rice or sand to fill the remaining space. To begin the game, you can use an alphabet deck to pick a letter and have your child shake the bottle and hunt for the object that begins with a chosen letter.  Kaboom Alphabet - This game involves using craft sticks and cups. Each child will pull out a stick from the cup and say the sound of the letter mentioned on the stick. If a player pulls out a stick which has ‘Kaboom’ written on it, he/she will have to put all his sticks back in the cup.  Digraph Bug Swatting - Lamin
